Ocean fishing in Fedje

Fedje is Norway’s westernmost municipality and consists of around 125 smaller islands and islets. Fedje is often spoken of as a fisher’s paradise, and if you are a fishing enthusiast it is well worth a visit. You can find more information on the webpages of the Fedje municipality.

Fløibanen

On mount Fløien you will get a fantastic view of Bergen city. To visit Fløien you can either walk one of the many paths or get on the famous funicular.

Bergen Aquarium

The Lynghei Centre

The Lynghei Centre is an information centre for the moorlands along the coast. Here you can go for walks along the nature trails, visit the restaurant, watch the exhibitions and experience farming the traditional way.

The Bjørn West Museum

The Bjørn West Museum takes its name from the guerilla base that was established in the mountain region surrounding Matre during the last months of the Second World War. Tjorehagen, botanical gardens

Tjorehagen is a majestic botanical garden consisting of over 300 different species of rhododendron, trees and bushes the garden has been enjoyed by kids and adults alike since its founding in 1960. You can read more about the Tjorehagen botanical gardens here.

Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk

The Hillesvåg wool factory was founded in 1898 and has been a family owned business since that time. Here you can buy Norwegian knitwear, wool clothes, blankets and material for knitting, felt, crochet, etc. The factory is located about half an hour from Bruvoll by car.
